Children’s Program
Mother’s Children is a youth program for children ages 4–14, held on Sunday mornings during our regular Ashrama activities. Through stories, activities, and discussion, children are introduced to the principles of Vedanta in an age-appropriate way while also nurturing a spirit of service and spiritual awareness.
Program Details:
- Duration: 90 – 110 minutes
- Time: Mother’s Children drop-off window is 9:45–9:55am. The ashrama’s Sunday Vedanta Practice begins promptly at 10am with group meditation. Parents are therefore asked to arrive within the drop-off window and settle children and themselves before 10am. Late arrival is disruptive to the meditation period.
If you plan to bring your child, please contact the Mother’s Children coordinators, Lekshmi Venu and Aarti Sankrithi, at vedantamotherschildren@gmail.com to express your interest and ask any questions.
