Quote of the day
Who makes us ignorant? We ourselves. We put our hands over our eyes and weep that it is dark.— Swami Vivekananda
Is Vedanta atheistic or theistic?
ANSWER: It is both. It is atheistic. At the same time it is theistic. You can’t place it under either category. Even a die-hard atheist can be accommodated by Vedanta, and can be given the right kind of teachings to help that person experience the goal of human life. And a person who believes in God can be helped with a path taught by Vedanta to reach the highest goal of human life.
