Volunteer Opportunities
Contributing to the Vedanta Society goes beyond monetary donations; your time and skills are invaluable. Here are non-monetary ways to support the Society:
- Karma Yoga Days: Participate in our monthly Karma Yoga Days at the Seattle Ashrama or Tapovan to help maintain and beautify our spaces.
- Gifts-in-Kind: We accept donations of food, vehicles, and equipment, but please contact us before making such contributions.
- Skilled Volunteer Requests at Tapovan:
- Equipment Assistant: Help maintain outdoor equipment by working alongside Swami Brahmatmananda.
- Carpenters: Assist in replacing the aging deck and building new structures.
- Plumber: Help rebuild a non-functional shower.
- Puja Volunteers: Assist with preparations, support during the event, and help clean up afterward.
- Special Arrangements: If you can’t attend Karma Yoga Days, you can arrange a suitable time to volunteer at either Seattle or Tapovan.
Your service work helps sustain the Society and its mission. Thank you for your support!
