Join us in celebrating Durga Puja, an ancient Hindu festival that honors the power of the Divine Mother, Durga, and the triumph of good over evil. This celebration is open to all, regardless of background, as we come together in devotion and community. Durga Puja involves vibrant rituals, devotional music, and the offering of prayers to the goddess. Attendees can expect a spiritually uplifting experience, with singing, meditation, and the opportunity to participate in rituals. Food offered to Durga will be distributed as prasad (a blessed offering) to attendees at the close of the event.
We are holding Durga Puja at the Seattle Ashrama and livestreaming on YouTube (link below). Space is limited, so we recommend marking your calendar to arrive early.
IMPORTANT: only street parking is available.
This, like all VSWW events, is free and everyone is welcome! Donations are graciously accepted.
