Watch the Kali Puja on YouTube.
Join us in celebrating Kali Puja, a profound Hindu festival that honors the transformative power of the Divine Mother Kali, the Goddess of time, change, and the remover of ignorance. This celebration is open to everyone, providing an opportunity to come together in devotion and reflection. Kali Puja involves sacred rituals, devotional music, and the offering of prayers to the Goddess. Attendees can expect a spiritually deepening experience, with singing, meditation, and the opportunity to participate in rituals. Food offered to Ma Kali will be distributed as prasad (a blessed offering) to attendees at the close of the event.
We are holding Kali Puja at the Seattle Ashrama and livestreaming on YouTube (link below).
IMPORTANT: only street parking is available.
This, like all VSWW events, is free and everyone is welcome! Donations are also graciously accepted.
This is a 2 hour program plus prasad for those attending in person.
Please sign up to bring healthy, vegetarian food (prasad), indicating what you will be bringing as well as the approximate number of servings. Main dishes are preferred.
We would like to identify 6 volunteers to assist Swami Avikarananda. They will need to arrive at 5pm, be available during the event, as well as for 1 hour after the puja ends.
