with goal of introducing children to concepts of Vedanta through stories, activities and discussion and nurture the spirit of service to the community. All sessions are held at the Vedanta Society’s Capitol Hill location. Parents are encouraged to arrive by 9:50 am to allow enough time for children to be comfortable in the classroom and for parents to get settled for the start of Sunday Lecture. If you plan on bringing your child for the introductory session, please email the Mother’s Children program coordinators (contact information below) to let them know of your interest in the program and ask any questions ahead of the first session.
